Pictures of Lori's office

Here are the pictures that I promised. Hopefully many of you will get to see the inside in person. There have been a few changes since these pictures were taken, I now have an x-ray view box and a few other supplies in the room, but at least you get to see it.

December Happenings

Happy New Year!

The last month of 2006 was quite a busy one. We went to Wenatchee for Thanksgiving and got stuck there due to the fact that it snowed four inches in 24 hours and we couldn't find any snow tires or chains to help us get back home. We later discovered that you cannot get snow tires for the size of tire that the VUE had and that there is not enogh clearance for chains. We looked into buying all new rims and tires, but the brake thingy would interfere with any other size tire. Threfore we bought a new SUV! We ended up getting a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. We got an amazing deal on it too. It was a program car (whatever that is) and it had 9,000 miles on it. It was over $10,000 less than the MSRP on a new one! We couldn't believe it. It has a black leather interior, and all the bells and whistles of a luxury car. The only thing it didn't have was a in ceiling DVD player and seat warmers for the front seats. We absolutley love the way it drives and it is so much more comfortable that the VUE.

The kids had fun in Wenatchee and Chelan for Christmas. David made out with a whole bunch of toys and gift cards, and Alison got lots of clothes. Nana and Papa McKellar flew in from their road trip in order to spend Christmas with us in Chelan. Alison was finally introduced to all our family in Wenatchee and received a great welcoming. David had lots of fun playing with his cousins at Grandma and Papa Sturm's house.

David is growing up quickly. He has been sleeping in a big boy bed since the beginning of Decmber, and he is starting to potty train. Some days are better than others, but at least he is trying. Hopefully we will only have one kid in diapers by summer. Hooray!

We got my office put together and organized this past Friday and Saturday. The doors are open for business starting tomorrow, but I still have a lot to do before I can see patients with insurance, unless they want to pay cash and bill their insurance themselves. This will hopefully be remedied sometime in the next few months. Stay tuned because there will be pictures of my office coming soon.
